Welcome to Mart9ja ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), a multi-vendor e-commerce platform hosted at https://mart9ja.com. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions (T&C). If you do not agree, please refrain from using Mart9ja.

1. Definitions "Buyer": A registered user purchasing products/services. "Vendor": A registered seller offering products/services. "Platform": Mart9ja’s website, mobile app, and related services. "Content": Listings, reviews, images, and other user-generated material.

2. Account Registration Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information. Vendors must undergo verification before selling. You are responsible for account security and must notify us of unauthorized access. Mart9ja reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms.

3. Vendor Obligations Product Listings: Vendors must ensure listings are accurate, lawful, and comply with Mart9ja’s policies. Prohibited Items: Illegal, counterfeit, or restricted goods are banned. Pricing & Inventory: Vendors must maintain correct pricing and stock levels. Order Fulfillment: Vendors must ship orders within the promised timeframe.

4. Buyer Obligations Buyers must provide valid payment details and a deliverable address. Fraudulent transactions will result in account suspension. Buyers must verify product details before purchasing.

5. Payments & Fees Payment Processing: Mart9ja uses secure third-party gateways (e.g., Paystack, Monnify, Flutterwave). Commissions: Vendors agree to Mart9ja’s transaction fees (specified in Vendor Agreement). Refunds: Processed per our Refund & Return Policy.

6. Intellectual Property Mart9ja owns all platform content, logos, and trademarks. Vendors retain ownership of their product listings but grant Mart9ja a license to display and promote them. Copyright violations (e.g., unauthorized image use) may lead to account termination.

7. Dispute Resolution Buyer-Vendor Disputes: Mart9ja may mediate but is not liable for resolutions. Chargebacks: Fraudulent claims may result in account suspension.

8. Limitation of Liability Mart9ja is not responsible for: Vendor product quality or delivery delays. Third-party payment failures. Technical issues beyond our control.

9. Termination Mart9ja may suspend or terminate accounts for: Fraud, spam, or policy violations. Illegal activities. Non-payment of fees (for Vendors).

10. Governing Law These T&C are governed by Nigerian law. Disputes shall be resolved in State courts.

11. Changes to Terms Mart9ja may update these terms. Users will be notified via email or platform announcements.
